The Body's Sleep Cycles Are Designed To "Recharge" You For Another Day Of "Living"
The Body at Rest Repairs Itself
In the Same Way

Although many unforeseen things happen within the span of a good night’s rest, such as how much sleep you should get, in delta (dreamless sleep) how much Theta sleep should you have? And what balance would create what result.
Simply saying you need a good nights rest is not enough because it’s not just the getting “rest” or “sleep” that cause the end results your looking for. Getting enough Delta sleep, which is that cycle of sleep your body recharges major chemicals burned off during an average day (delta is dreamless sleep and a very deep sleep). You don’t just want sleep, you want recuperative sleep.
Through Targeted Entrainment Technologies all the things needed for whatever result that particular product is trying to accomplish have been thought of and the very development of the music takes these things into consideration. In short we don’t just make a meditation track that’s soothing to us, and “hope” it works for you. In many cases due to everyone having different preferences one persons “soothing” is another persons “annoying”. Theta sleep cycles are when potassium (something the body NEEDS to function mentally) are created and the more you go without theta sleep, the more tired and groggy and dysfunctional you will be when you wake up. One of the chemicals created during Delta sleep is Human Growth Hormone, although the body is producing this even in waking moments it is in Delta sleep that you get your ample supply which lends to well being and fantastic healing (and HGH benefits like slowing down the aging process) while sleeping. Not getting enough Delta sleep can cause you to age faster! If too deep a sleep causes you to awaken more tired than you need to be then we also realize this in our equation. Did you know that too much sleep is just as bad as not enough? It’s true, when you “over sleep” your body becomes over taxed with these chemicals (too much of a good thing) and your body has to metabolize these chemicals until they reach natural, optimal states. So although you awaken tired and feel “dead” the best thing you can do is to jumpstart your body by exercising to burn through those chemicals and stabilize! Sleeping in the dark helps you sleep because our body is photosensitive and melatonin and serotonin are released while we sleep (hence the covers help this process), but if you sleep in a room that is pitch dark even in the morning, you will have a terrible time waking up. If you want to get up early in the morning the best thing to do is have a window blind drawn so the sunlight hits your body there by waking up! One of the best ways to warm up your morning is to simply get your coffee or tea and sit outside in the direct sunlight; you would be amazed how fast this wakes you up (and gives you energy). This actually helps you to sleep at night too because it starts a chain reaction in your body that helps melatonin production later when it’s dark. another thing to consider is hyper sleep, or getting 8 hours of sleep in 4 hours with twice the rest physically and emotionally as most people getting 8 hours. The only reason we need 8 hours is that most people take that long to:
1. Go through all 4 of the sleep cycles effectively
2. Reach those states of sleep where the mind can effectively produce chemicals to repair itself and “fuel” our “cells” up to run for the next up to 16 hours (before we start to deplete enough to start “crashing”) Now if you didn’t stress in your dreams which are a reflection of having too many problems to deal with during your waking life, or going to bed with too many unresolved issues and emotions, then you’d only really need 4 hours of sleep. This is reflected in people being able to function well with only 4 hours of sleep. These people are not “insomniacs” as people stereotypically call them in a negative slant I might add, they are simply people with enough control over their mind, and enough awareness over their world, to handle problems with efficiency and effectively deal with things before bed. Most of us toss and turn all night, this is a problem caused by not effectively releasing the chemical that our brain releases that puts our body into a coma like state while we sleep and recharge. If we worry too much, stress too much during the day, and even at night, we release chemicals (stress chemicals for one) that COUNTERACT the sleep chemicals! This makes us not get enough effective sleep, leading to running on half charged batteries essentially! In our products we take it a step further to assure correct sleeping patterns (for sleep products) happen, although we cannot alleviate you overnight (no pun intended) over time you will learn to sleep soundly and effectively.
