Understanding Energy and Vitality
Many people think that energy is the result of drinking some energy drink, taking vitamin B, or the various other things that people try to get their energy up. The truth about energy is that it is often a bi-product of a synergy. One example is eating right and drinking water. This is the ultimate synergy in motion. The vitamins in coordination with other things in the foods we eat bring the body it’s needed building blocks, the water helps the body break these things down by both feeding the organs with a very necessary fuel, and by acting as an agent for energizing the enzymes that do the actual work.
Many people think that the only important part of food for the body is the actual vitamins themselves but this is not the case. Taking vitamins, for example, in pill form, you neglect a main ingredient in the transmission of those vitamins into the body. Sure the vitamin C in an orange is vital, but the other ingredients inherent in the orange act as a carrier signal to helping the body absorb these nutrients. In vitamins you take in pill form, a multivitamin is based on this concept. You not only get several vitamins in one pill but each of the different vitamins synergize to help one another do it’s job, absorb into the body efficiently and more.
If any part of the machine is not doing it’s job the whole machine is at risk, thus often lack of energy is more than just one thing. Stress creates a hormone called cortisol that goes in and acts like water in a car’s engine! Not drinking enough water is akin to not putting enough oil into your car’s engine, many people are doing BOTH! Drinking energy drinks often gives you a boost but it also floods your body with ridiculous amounts of vitamins (causing vitamin toxicity), and flooding the organs with things it doesn’t need thus making it overwhelming to process the things it does. It’s like putting nitrous oxide into your car to speed it up but the engine can barely handle the heat, stress, and over exertion this would cause it.
Another issue that is creeping up these days is adrenal fatigue syndrome. Taking energy drinks, drinking too much coffee (or both) can cause the adrenal glands to work overtime and actually will make it run out of adrenalin needed to run the body’s most basic functions. It’s a domino effect that makes you tired! Most Americans are suffering this problem and energy drinks, caffeine, and more are actually making them tired as if they took a sleeping pill!
Quick fixes are not the answer; they are the wrench in the proverbial machine. The problem is that everyone wants this quick solution. By the time your in a fix where your tired, the things that do work tend to be extremely difficult. You become lazier so exercising feels way too much like work. Eating the right foods is all great but the habit of eating crap is so ingrained in your system that it’s nearly impossible to feel happy long enough eating foods alien to you or that you’ve always called “health food” to build the necessary filters to overcome the habit (eating healthy is a formed habit but you must first overcome the habit of eating bad foods before you can even begin to habitually eat the good ones).
When you start to eat healthy to the point of habit, those foods you ate before become the enemy, the gross foods, not because of a mental block, although one is formed eventually, but because the body starts to actually do it’s job, introducing foods that are unhealthy into a healthy body will cause it to break down and you FEEL it immediately. You will start to realize the importance of water in a healthy body (something that’s hard to realize in an unhealthy one) when you don’t get your water and start to feel tired. Eating junk food in a healthy body is akin to taking a sleeping pill, you get tired, drained and feel like crap. The beauty of the healthy eating habit is that the body gets to the point where it can actually do its job very effectively and the alarms that were buried in bad filters, bad feelings that took over your consciousness making you feel cloudy all the time, are now loud and clear. Healthy body’s think clearly and anything that is negative becomes a slap in the face, so this helps you maintain it- the problem is getting to this state of mind, body, and spirit!
To truly reach a healthy state is to truly feel your life energy, and to generate it unhindered. Real energy and vitality is built on good habits, Proper nutrition, and healthy internal dialogues. When you start to eat healthy all the time and the body becomes healthy as well, your internal dialog shifts to a positively reinforcing state where you reinforce that healthy foods are the real energy drink and water is vital. You simultaneously build other filters that caffeine, energy drinks, processed foods and so on are the enemy and make you feel bad, this starts to build over time as you feel great and one day splurge and drink a soda then feel tired afterward, thus creating a filter so you don’t do that again!).
The answer is to first change your habits, eat better, drink water, get fiber (which scrubs your system of toxins and pushes them out of your system), and CHANGE HOW YOU TALK TO YOURSELF. The hardest thing about all this is that little voice inside you that often causes a panic then defeat. “If I don’t get to drink soda or caffeine I won’t have that rush I so love” or “Healthy food doesn’t give me pleasure nor does it seem to give me energy, there is no instant gratification there, but if I eat this processed burrito I’ll feel good”. These are just a microism of the amount of bad internal dialogue scripting we use habitually throughout the day causing our failure.
The internal dialogue is tremendous in its influence over our decisions. If we can’t talk ourselves out of thinking the limiting thoughts we think, then discipline wanes. Many people think far before they act and this thinking often causes the problem. We should think, in terms of, is this safe, before we do things, granted, but we often go far beyond instinct and talk ourselves out of even trying. Fear of unhappiness, of no gratification, is the one that plagues everyone with low energy.
The irony is that the things we think give us pleasure actually often rob us of it. The hard thing about eating healthy is we have to De-program all those things we always thought of habitually. Bad habits that were nurtured for decades are not going to just go away instantly because we want them to. Actually they could if we truly wanted them to but there are too many built up associations that act as filters and excuses to “why” you don’t want to eat healthy.
The solution to changing your habits more easily is being able to tap into the internal dialogue directly and enforce changes there. Once you realize which associations are the core associations, you can change those and like a domino effect you disrupt the entire lot of other associations. Once these connections are severed you are free to create new more powerful ones. Unfortunately this is a long process. Many people spent decades just trying to figure out what those associations were, and often will dislodge several that aren’t cores, but still affect some changes.
It’s the core that you need to dissolve to break the spell your in. Low energy fixes are often a matter of eating right, drinking water, and flushing your system of toxins of which the most toxic is a bad internal dialogue. If you switched today, only ate healthy foods, drank water, did a complete detox, and followed that for about 30 days, you would be more energetic than you ever thought possible. Getting to the mental state where you will discipline yourself for 30 days is the major obstacle.
Changing your patterns from thinking energy drinks are some magical solution to realizing they are part of the problem. Thinking in terms of would you rather have a habit of drinking these poisonous drinks and get a tiny buzz that may carry you for a few minutes, or would you rather have NO habit of taking anything for energy and just wake up every day loaded with stamina, energy, optimism that will make every day incredible? What sucks is that although you KNOW you want the latter, most people take the hard road because it seems like the better deal NOW.
Drinking an energy drink may make you feel a false sense of energy, or manufactured energy, but the reality is, that energy drink will make the problem worse and eventually after it’s become so bad that even the energy drinks and caffeinated drinks don’t work anymore, you will find yourself stuck wondering what’s wrong with you. (adrenal fatigue? Poor nutrition? No exercise? Backed up colon/septic system of the body causing toxins to evaporate back into the blood stream to cause the body to crash?)
One of the main components of energy is state of mind. You can actually generate indigenous chemical releases from the brain that do what those energy drinks do only there is no crash afterward and there is no toxic effects to your body. It’s incredibly perpetual, but it’s drastically tied to how you think, what you say, how you eat, how you take care of your body/temple. You can also generate chi energy through meditation and reprogramming the way you talk to yourself. The problem is if you don’t do the whole deal, eat right, exercise, meditate, and have a healthy internal dialogue, these “chi” exercises will not be felt (even if they are working full swing!).
Stress is a major contributor to low energy
You could be extremely healthy, get plenty of exercise but if you’re stressing out over little things you’re countering the energetic effects of these things with stress chemicals. Stress is what is making people so tired they are desperate for an energy fix NOW, so they can work; go on with their day and more. The stress, however, actually counters the effects of an energy drink, so you get a tiny amount of artificial energy but a huge amount of toxicity in your body. Mix stress hormones and toxic energy drinks and you have an ongoing recipe for fatigue. The thing also to keep in mind is the body takes a long time to recover from toxicity, so the energy is instant (the tiny amount you get) but the effects of being more tired (thus trying to compensate with more energy drinks which compounds the problem) are long lasting and at some point you can’t counter them even with energy drinks, caffeine, or even healthy food (instantly that is).
Thoughts Become Chemical Cocktails
Another thing to think about is that when your minds mental thought stream/script is perfected, you tend to notice things that cause energy drain like negative self talk, and even the foods you’re eating. Can you imagine actually feeling the drain of a single negative thought? If you can’t then you’re unhealthy and clouded. The fact is your so bombarded with fatigue and bad thinking (most likely, if your tired all the time) that negative thoughts have little conscious impact (but major physical impact) on you, your simply used to feeling it and in the big picture it is just a tickle compared to the whole consistent thought stream.
Think of it like this. If someone were to lightly punch you in the chest, I mean just push on you basically, no pain, it wouldn’t hurt, you’d feel it but it wouldn’t hurt. If they continued to do this 100 times by the 100th time you’d feel the pain, but after 100 more times you’d feel nothing. If they punched slightly harder you’d definitely feel it, but the fact is the thought stream often is consistent so you don’t even notice how walking around talking down to yourself or others, saying negative things that affect you, cussing, and more, affects you.
If your thought stream was positive all the time, your energy was always high, and you were loving life, you’d have nothing bad to say about anything, anyone, and you’d actually feel a limiting thought, a negative thought, a thought that would damage someone else if you said it out loud, and even if you did say it out loud it would drastically affect you. You’d feel this thought because at this time you’d instantly realize the effect it would have. Thoughts generate chemical responses in the body. The brain generates a chemical reaction, a formula if you will, for every thought in your head. Your body is constantly being bombarded with chemicals from your brain and the flavor, the color (for a visual) of this chemical release is based on your perception of those thoughts, not the actual thoughts themselves!.
If you’ve ever seen one of those night lights that fade slowly into different colors very seamlessly, then you can visualize how your body looks (to use a color metaphor to describe the impact effect on your body) all day long. Imagine if you will that the entire color wheel was in this glow affect, and certain colors represent the extremes of emotion. Light pastel colors would be like harmony, darker richer colors could be either bad or good, high emotion (happy or angry) or low emotion. But instead of just shifting to one color or the other like the night light, there are billions of combinations happening at once. The more pastels you have the easier you can handle the rich colors, and the more the rich colors are positive not negative.
Most people are so distracted by their lives that they have no idea what connection is between their energy and the reason they have none!
The first thing you need to get right is your internal dialogue. Once that is squared away, you will start to consciously think in ways that help you to solve this problem rather than being swayed towards a quick fix like an energy drink. You will think clearly so you will be able to make assessments, not assumptions. You tend to think for yourself more and question things that claim to give you energy. You start to pay more attention to how that apple makes you feel vs. that candy bar. You actually start to weigh not just what you think, but how that thought actually feels.
The healthier your body and thought stream is (internal dialogue scripting) the more intuitive you become about thoughts. Thoughts are the most powerful thing as they are the lifeblood of the brains function. The brain runs the entire show, make no mistake, so how it thinks determines how you feel, your energy levels and more. The brain decides if you feel energized or tired. Often you feel tired because the brain is trying to tell you that your body is not being taken care of. You can actually experience energy even if your body is unhealthy, the brain has the capability to overcome even this, as it releases adrenalin and instantly your energized, this is usually only done on a fight or flight reaction (instinct), but the fact is it is there.
Have you ever been beat down tired at work, bored out of your skull, and want nothing more than to go home and go to bed, then someone you haven’t seen in years, someone you absolutely are head over heals in love with comes into the office or you bump into them in the street and instantly you fee energetic, happy, and no longer want to go home and pass out? You actually want to go out and have a good time with them! This is because when you feel attraction, or even a kinship with someone you get excited, that excitement is a chemical reaction from the brains pharmacy, things like dopamine (well being feelings, reward, and more) and serotonin start to flood your body and you don’t feel anything that’s been holding you down!
Although the body can cause these energy bursts in you, these ambitions, it cannot sustain it if the body is unhealthy. You will yes, feel great for a moment, energetic and boosted when the rest of the day you were drained, mentally exhausted, and more, but eventually the body must return to it’s rest state where the chemicals stop pumping (because to continue to do so the brain realizes would damage your body).
If you’re healthy however, constant release of dopamine (reward) can actually work in the body without damaging it, and you can sustain amazing feelings because it doesn’t take toxic amounts of them to get past your filters. Your filters dumb down your good chemical feelings much like trying to talk to someone in a busy night club forces you to work harder to talk louder and over time this drains you.
Your internal dialogue actually governs the filters and all good feelings are always welcome in, so there is no friction as with a bad internal dialogue where things that are positive often get mistaken for things that are negative and are blocked. It’s a case of mistaken identity, bad information, and bad programming.
This proves my point. The mind controls the energy by controlling perceptions, defining how you feel by visualizing actually feeling it!
Bad Programming Through Other People
We spend most of our day telling ourselves how tired we are, but we don’t spend any time saying how energetic we are. We are quick to think negative and affirm what we think we feel which may very well be simply auto responses from seeing OTHER people who are tired, watching someone yawn and then you yawn and “think” you’re tired because you yawned. The reality is that most people are not tired or worn out; they are simply HIGHLY SUSCEPTIBLE TO SUGGESTION!
What may be making you so tired is not reality, but what you actualize from your environment. If you’re not in control of your internal dialogue you are in auto pilot, and in autopilot you’re a reactive creature. If you’re simply reacting to everything you’re like a pinball machine and everyone else is playing you!
The Yawn Curse
Did you know the act of yawning only means your body needs oxygen? It doesn’t in any real way signify your tired, but the programming of rumor and innuendo, and constant affirmation from others reactions to a yawn, and their own bad information, makes us tired. The reality is if you yawn and feel tired, then your internal dialogue is making a mistake in perception and thus telling you that your yawning and thus must be tired. This causes the brain to release the chemicals that actually make you tired. One in particular starts the process of numbing the body for sleep, another melatonin sets the timer for falling asleep and actually puts you into a trance for sleep.
How would you like to escape this self created prison of reactive thinking and start living YOUR life, feeling energetic, thinking in energetic and optimistic ways, and not being affected by everyone else’s “bad programming”? I know it’s easy to read all this and even understand that it is actually very simple to comprehend, but in actual practice, the work part can be discouraging because there are no instant results to motivate you. But there is a way to speed up the process and it comes with a built in instant reward process that will keep you going. I call this process TranQuil-Wiser. First you feel tranquil, relaxed, liberated from your day and active thought stream.
You reach a trance state where tranquility is the carrier signal to clarity of thought. These don’t tell you how to think, the affirmations and music simply help steer your mind internally, showing you the road back to your internal source code. They suggest things to your internal dialogue/subconscious mind, and give you another way to see your life.
Once you experience these insights it will be successful results that will help YOU change your dialogue permanently, acting as a defense shield against low self esteem. The power here is that you are given a choice, but the music helps you to see the other side that you may not be able to get in front of naturally because of the bad filters (things like thinking automatically “what if she doesn’t like me?” that make you nervous before you even try and kill your confidence which gives you little chance of even approaching her! The insights will happen both in your dreams, in waking life, and in your thoughts. Eventually they will become a Constance and you will feel liberated from your shell, your mask, your fear.
